POST OFFICE

The Pine Mountain Club Post Office is provided under contract with the US Postal Service. Mail delivery is split between two ZIP codes with no-cost regular post office boxes provided for residents living in the 93222 ZIP code area and delivery to outdoor boxes for residents living in the 93225 zip code area of Pine Mountain Club. The US Postal Service does not offer residential delivery.

Pine Mountain Club Property Owners Association Security Patrol monitors the community and responds to calls from Pine Mountain Club Members involving minor issues such as bear and wildlife activity, property checks while Members are on vacation, checking on the welfare of Members (welfare checks), and are available when assistance is needed by first-responders during an emergency or crisis situation.

FIRE STATION

Located in the center of the Pine Mountain Club community, the Kern County Pine Mountain Club Fire Department Station #58 is a crucial emergency response facility that includes Paramedic services to the residents of Pine Mountain Club and surrounding community businesses.

The Fire Station is equipped with trained personnel and specialized firefighting equipment for the area dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of Pine Mountain Club residents in case of emergencies.

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY
RESPONSE TEAM

The Pine Mountain Club Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is made up of people that live in the community that are organized under the Kern County Fire Department and Federal Department of Homeland Security umbrella that are trained and educated in disaster response, receive training in First Aid, learn Urban Search, Fire Suppression, and other essential emergency management skills.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is the agency responsible for law enforcement within Kern County and the eight distinct communities of the greater Frazier Mountain area and Pine Mountain Club.

RADIO SAFETY NET

The Pine Mountain Club Emergency Preparedness Radio Safety Net provides Pine Mountain Club residents with backup communications using long-range walkie-talkies when all other forms of communication fail due to electric power disruptions, cell and landline service interruptions, and other service interruptions.

The KCPK-LP Radio Station was founded by Shelia Clark, Ph.D. with a mission to develop an interdependent, consensual, and ecologically sensitive community – locally and nationally.

KCPK-LP Radio is licensed by the FCC AND broadcasting at FM 106.9 in Pine Mountain Club, California. Tune in for Talk Shows, Internet Radio Streams, Independent Podcasts, and Terrestrial FM Radio.
